Our story began in 2000, when the Hafizović family decided to turn a hobby with fish farming into something more. Today, Ribarska kuća restaurant is a synonym for quality food and top service.
Opening
The restaurant was opened in the summer of 2000. Initially, it was a small facility with a few tables.
Expansion of the summer garden
Three new pavilions were built as part of the restaurant. The capacity was increased by 60 tables. The restaurant has become a popular place to enjoy nature.
Construction of the outdoor terrace
An outdoor terrace was built containing 7 tables next to the Ponikve river.
Construction of the outdoor bar
An outdoor bar was built that enabled better service to guests.
Fire
On the night of August 3rd to 4th, 2023, a fire broke out in our restaurant that destroyed the entire facility. After a long few hours, with the help of firefighters and locals, the fire was extinguished and a major disaster was prevented. Fortunately, no one was injured. A 10-month break followed.
Reopening
After the fire that hit us and destroyed the entire previous facility, after a break of 10 months, a newly built restaurant started operating in the same place.
